Personal finance apps are built for one person. Real life isn't. Compound is for the whole household.
Compound began as one family's private cockpit. Our money was spread across banks, cards and brokerages, flight confirmations were buried in more than one inbox, and nobody could remember which size fit at which store. Every tool we tried assumed a single person with a single login.
So we built the thing we wanted: one place where a household's net worth, spending, pay and investments sit next to its trips, loyalty points and everyone's sizes, and where you can just ask a question and get an answer from your own data.
Picture the Riveras, our sample family. The parents see the full financial picture and plan for the next vest or the kitchen remodel. Their kids open the same app to find the hotel for spring break and the jeans size that actually fit last time, and never see a dollar of household money. That's the idea: one household, the right view for everyone.
What we believe
The household is the unit
Money, trips, sizes and receipts belong to a family, not to one login. Compound gives every member their own sign-in and the right view of the same household.
Kids get their own, safely
A 12-year-old should be able to check the trip itinerary or her shoe size without ever seeing a bank balance. Roles make that the default.
You're the customer
No ads, no data sales, no selling your attention. Compound earns its keep by being useful to the family that uses it.
Private by construction
Read-only connections, encrypted tokens and database-level walls between households. The details are on our Security page.
We're letting families in gradually during the private beta.
